High School Registration Information for 2018-2019

If your child has experienced the loss of a loved one, please consider signing them up for this all-day Camp Healing Hearts free event.

You will need to RSVP via email to: in order to register your child.  Please view the attached PDF file for details.

8th grade parents:  Your students will be receiving a Choices 2018-19 Booklet this week in Homeroom.  This booklet is a follow up to a presentation that all 8th graders attended on September 18, outlining the various magnet high school options available to them for the 2018-2019 school year.  Other transfer options are also discussed in the booklet.  The application period to apply for a magnet high school is October 1 – December 1 and can be submitted online only.  It is important to note that even if you are zoned for Seminole High School or zoned for Lyman High School but are interested in a magnet program at that school, you must still apply online.

A pdf version of the booklet your child will receive is available here for your reference:

Please visit the Choices website for any questions:

If your student is interested in a Program of Emphasis, this application period does not start until February 1, 2018.   When we have high school meetings on our campus in the spring, your student will attend his or her zoned high school meeting until any transfers are approved.  If your address has changed, please turn in proof of residency (copy of lease or deed, updated driver’s license or voter’s registration & copy of a water or power bill at the current address) into Mrs. DeVivo, Guidance Secretary, as soon as possible to ensure your student is on the correct zone list for high school.
